Strange title rite...
conditionally talkative... "a person who gets talkative on a condition"
i met this old school mate who i was told is very talkative... Its always good to be around chirpy people... they keep talking and its nice to listen, especially when its a sweet feminine voice... not that i don't like to listen to masculine voice... i listen to my boss very carefully... i get to learn a lot from him u see...
So when i met this pretty lady we hardly spoke... and there was this general.. Hi, How r u? and stuff and then there was silence... I somehow don't like silence too much... i would rather talk. so i started to talk and talk and talk and then i stopped thinking she would talk... but this so called talkative gurl was quiet and she sweetly said "aur batao"(say something) made me wonder who is talkative here???
After a quiet drive we went shopping and she was talking only a few words... finally tired of shopping we decided to have some food and we located a nice Punjabi food joint. The food and the service was amazing. The butter naan was great and the chicken was a WOW...
After we finished lunch... this pretty lady took over and started to talk... I was wondering if the chicken is doing the talking??? well after that i didn't speak a word... or should i say i didnt get an opportunity to speak...ha ha ha... the chicken in her was doing all the talking... and i realized that the chicken is the FUEL... Wish i knew it earlier i would have presented her with some chicken instead of Flowers :P ha ha ha
Well this title conditionally talkative came to my mind a few days back... I have been talking to this girl quiet often and all i remember her saying is "aur batao"... and believe me she is so good at it... u'll just say something... Her sweet "aur batao" also makes me feel that she wants to hang up... I really dont know how true is that... does she really want to listen people talking??? anyways
I got to speak to her recently and she was as talkative as she was the other day after having chicken... and since it was not a normal "aur batao" talk from her side... out of curiosity i asked her "aaj chicken khaya hai kya?" (did u have chicken today?) and she was like "no i had fish"... So i realized that non-veg meal does all the talking... and unless she has it she hardly talks... so gurl.. next time i meet u I'll come prepared with a chicken... or do u want to try mutton this time? he he he
Keep freaking on food gurl. ah non-veg food... coz that ur FUEL...

Smokin Clove!!!
After a good heavy lunch me and my friend went to this paan wala and ordered for a saada pan there. While he was making the pan one nice looking gurl parked her car in middle of the main road blocking the traffic and came to this paan wala and asked for some smokes and a gudan garam. When she left we got talking with the paan wala guy who told us that he is from Banaras etc... I told my friend about gudan garam. i have tasted it earlier. my friend had not. then the paan wala added. "sir is se aapka gala saaf ho jaayega..." (sir, smoking this ur throat will be clear)
My friend got interested and he wanted to try it out and we bought a couple of gudan garam. taking a walk we had these gudan garam. he liked it so much that he went ahead and bought another couple later on...
for those of u who dont know what gudan garm is.... its a clove flavoured cigrette. there is hardly any tobacco in these and it makes ur lips wet and u feel cool inside. nice one though... but a cigrette remains a cigrette... whatever maybe the flavour ;) - Injurious to health.
Cigerette in hindi is called "shwet varna lamba kaar dhoomrapaan dandika"
which means "white color long tobacco smoking stick"
these hindi names are too much... ufff...

Broken Mirrors n Bruised Bodies - Apology!
Met a couple of old friends this weekend...
All foodies - Freaked out on food.
Loads of Fish, chicken, Kebabs, Desi ghee paranthas, anna-sambhar... and the list goes on...
With all the variety of food going in we had a good time pulling each others legs and making fun.
the conversations started with sharing the pranks we used to do in school / college etc.
We laughed our heart out... so much that it starts to pain as soon as i start laughing again...
Then someone started to talk about music and we started to listen to Punjabi Music - Gurdaas maan and Bappi Maan. I have heard of Gurdaas maan but not bappi maan. Bappi maan is supposed to sing all sad songs. He was betrayed by some girl sometime... ladki kya kya karvati hai... pata nahi Bappi maan kya banne wala tha... singer ban gaya... ha ha ha
With the music that touches your heart everyone started to get high with the music... saari junta feelings mein aa gayi...
Everyone then started to talk about their experiences with girls betraying them. Everyone wanted to talk and everyone wanted to talk first... ha ha ha... guys will be guys
I went mad at one of my friend for the reasons both of us dont remember... i pushed him and poor guy fell on the internet router and hurt himself... another guy came to help him and i pushed him somewhere and he happened to hit a dressing table and the mirror went into pieces... thankfully he was not hurt by the mirror... sorry guys i dont know what got into me. the guy who fell on the router injured his finger and it started to bleed. nothing serious. he will be fine.
Have a great week ahead guys!

Cellphone ~ A Boon A Neusense
The weekend was good but there was on thing that bothered me a hell lot... my cellphone.
it just kept ringing and i had to answer questions like where are u? what are u doing? what time are u back? i have always hated to answer these questions...
at times i felt like throwing away my cell phone. but a couple of good calls and my throwing the phone feeling changed... and i realized that i have a silent option in the cell phone which i have not been using much. so i turned it to silent and enjoyed the saturday evening with a few of my friends. we freked out on food. they have an amazing cook.
Next day(Sunday) morning i realized that i have some 35 odd missed calls on my cell phone. When i check i realized that people have been looking for me I was WANTED now. Calls from New Delhi to Mysore... well i have been sleeping all the time... so how can people expect me to take calls when i sleep. so i called them one by one... and cooled off everyone... i'm so good at it ;)
I received an unexpected call from a pune number... i thought it might be some bank guys or something... but i was surprised to hear my sister on the other end... she was mad at me. I spoke to her on her wedding last month and after that i could not talk to her at all. NO, she was not mad at me coz i didnt talk to her... She was mad at me cos i fractured my right ring finger at her wedding last month and i didnt tell her... and i also told everyone not to tell her... but some one told her and she was hurt. well i'm sorry sister... never meant to hurt u...
Our conversation went a lil longer and we spoke about lot of things. always good to talk to her...
GOD - WAKE THEM UP!

Cellphone - This small connection device keeps u connected. Its a boon as i get to connect with the people i always miss being with. its turns into a total neusense coz the same people keep calling and ask the kind of questions i always hated to answer. I guess i got to live with it. ;)
Monday - another week started. I hope my clients give me a reason to smile. They have given me enough frowns and uncertainties in the recent past... hope that comes to an end this week.GOD - WAKE THEM UP!

Excuse Me - Its a Weekend!
I love weekends... everyone loves weekends... They give me a natural smile...
coz weekend is the time to relax and spend time with family and friends.
Well it kind of means the same to me also... yeah kind of...
I treat my weekends a lil differently... while everyone tries to stay home and relax... i study, i travel, i party, i go trekking, i visit my friends, i go swimming... etc etc.
If i'm not doing anything that i just said then i just go to work and i would do just anything BUT I just cant stay home and relax on a weekend.
If i'm staying home then i must be sick or all the above options did not work out. If nothing works out...
I always have a PLAN B - i.e. Ride on my MotorCycle and go nowhere... its an amazing feeling altogether... "sadken napna" (measuring the roads) as it means in hindi.
well this is what usually no one dares to do on a weekend... atleast in bangalore traffic... but as i dont get to ride my bike all the week i would just take out my Glamourous HH Glamour MotorCycle and go no where... since my motorcycle gives me a good 68Km/litre it does not pinch at all. and the best part is i can travel the whole of Bangalore in just 55bucks (thats what a litre of petrol costs here). NO, its not the most economic weekend... since i would be going nowhere i would land up somewhere and i realize that my friend lives there... we go out and enjoy the weekend so its actually an extra cost of 55bucks. Well u must be thinking it so dumb of me to go no where and reach somewhere.
arrey baba... Technology - cellphones - when i'm riding my bike i call all my friends and check who is on that nowhere route that i'm progressing on, the moment i connect with some one i reach somewhere - thats where my friend lives.
if u still didnt get it... dont bother... common sense is not very common - no hard feelings...
My family is totally mad at me... well if u still could not figure out y... Just imagine ur kid(unfortunately we remain kids for our parents even if we are 75yrs old) doing all the above... i know even i might not like that too much... ha ha ha
The reason for me to escape from home everytime has been good solid confident excuses(and thats what excuse me is about). Well i have always been good at excuses... thank god... u know what trouble it is otherwise...
I'm a very nice and calm guy and i dont harm anyone... but I have a problem with Authority and when this Authority is around on a weekend it makes me find excuses... excuses to break free... "i waana break free" nice song... huh
So here is a weekend again and my Plan A is all set... just incase it fails i would switch to Plan B.
Its a Saturday Morning and its about 9:30AM. I'm tired coz i just finished my night shift work and i should be going to sleep.. but excitement to go to school keeps me awake. Its a long drive to school... with the crazy traffic i would be fighting my sleep all the way...
So U guys have a good weekend. I'm also starting my weekend...
GOD i just learnt that today is an Ashtami and i should not have non-veg meal today... how i wish these sacred days would fall on a weekday... GOD I'm sorry to think that way... now that i know its an ashtami today i would be missing on my tandoori chicken meal today :( but i'll make it up tomorrow :)) no worries... or maybe u never know tomorrow might be another Sacred day...
I'm a kashmiri pandit... and i respect these sacred days and the related customs... i never regret these.
Happy Weekend Guys!

The Road to Success!!!
I came across this piece of text... real good one.
Ever heard the story of the giant ship engine that failed? The ship's owners tried one expert after another, but none of them could figure but how to fix the engine. Then they brought in an old man who had been fixing ships since he was a youngster. He carried a large bag of tools with him, and when he arrived, he immediately went to work. He inspected the engine very carefully, top to bottom.
Two of the ship's owners were there, watching this man, hoping he would know what to do. After looking things over, the old man reached into his bag and pulled out a small hammer. He gently tapped something. Instantly, the engine lurched into life. He carefully put his hammer away. The engine was fixed!
A week later, the owners received a bill from the old man for ten thousand dollars.
"What?!" the owners exclaimed. "He hardly did anything!"
So they wrote the old man a note saying, "Please send us an itemized bill."
The man sent a bill that read :
Tapping with a hammer ........................ $0002.00
Knowing where to tap .......................... $9998.00
Effort is important, but knowing where to make an effort in your life makes all the difference!

Excitement - Can one live without it?
yeah zindagi kis tarah kahan mod le le kuch pata nahi chalta.
sometime it takes a right /wrong turn and some times a U turn... but everytime we turn with it, it takes us to a new destination... even a U turn u see life in a different way altogether... with all these twists and turns in the life there is always an excitement...
life - i feel when on a single straight track becomes monotonous and boring... maybe i would like to have a life like that when i age.. maybe jab mein budda ho jaaonga... that time i maybe i would just relax or god knows what... thats not for now...
at 24 i would say i've seen enough turns and twists and U turns in my life... and i look ahead to many more... everytime life has moved away from the straight track its got tons of excitement into me... new destinations, new opportunities, new people... These changes/turns have fuelled one thing - an urge to do better in life... Excel in whatever i do... Be on the TOP... neeche se nahi upper se... for a change.. ha ha ha
Excitement is what has been driving me all the time.. when excitement starts fading off i start to get restless. its good and it bad too... sometimes
I have been very cruel to myself a lot of times... maybe all the time... or should i say i do things my way...
driving life the way i want it to has got me in a lot of troubles but i have come out clean and with a new experience and a lot of learning all the time... thank god.
I was talking with this person... this person has been following the foot steps of i dont know who... Albert Einstein maybe... that made me think and i asked myself... have i ever done that??? I have never followed anyones footsteps... i make my own road... this is one reason my near and dear ones go mad at me... i dont know why i'm like this... but when i see a footstep there i would like to change course and make my own... i'm so crazy... but i do things my way... ah... i confess.. at times i'm sensible enough to make a couple of compromises here and there ;)
I listen to only a few people... my boss... who has guided me always... and my family... its a change in me.. positive or negative that time will tell... ;) for now its neutral..
This is what excitement does to u... u never follow a path... coz if its tried and tested then there would not be much excitement...
if i look back at my life... its been pretty eventful when i compare it with the people around me... my family n my friends. The graph of my life would look like the Himalayan range... or the Rocky mountains.. ha ha ha
but there has been on thing in specific that has kept me going... Excitement...
Its good to be excited... but excitement has to be in the right direction... if not... u end up doing everything wrong... I Thank GOD for keepin me on the right track and keeping me excited in the right direction... being true and honest to my self, my family and my work...
Work... ah... My work is my biggest passion... its always excited me... I work best when i have tons of work... i'm excited to finish it... i agree sometime i have bad days too... and that happens to everyone... but when i'm back i'm all excited to make up for the lost time... I love deadlines... being from a software background i seriously know what they mean... and i'm so happy that they are the same in sales too... i feel sales deadlines are more crucial than Software deadlines.
Sales is revenue... $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ ITS ALL ABOUT MONEY... HONEY!
By the way...
I like realistic Deadlines :) Realistic deadlines are challenging too... they can be achieved only with hard work...
Sales numbers excite me - when i see the numbers rolling like an australian batting score card... (i achieved that in the previous quarter) wish my score card with clients start to roll like that all the time...
well... visualize this... if i'm a batsmen (coz i like to bat) and my client is the bowler... The captain (clients management, VP's etc) is deciding who should bowl... the decision is taking too long... and since i'm waiting for them to bowl... i'm patiently loosing my patience... and i'm getting frustated... but not loosing my cool over it... thats my best Quality...
Well.. i dont blame them... they are going thru changes... but i just hope they dont take too long... 'Cos my boss will ask me... "Hey Naren, What have u been doing this Quarter.... we havent heard from u. looks like u still on a Zero this quarter?" I know no one likes 0(zero) on the score card especially on a sales score card. Even i hate it boss, but is there a way i can help?
Oh god WAKE UP MY CLIENTS... I start my day in excitement... excited to see what my client has in store for me...
Since the time i was a kid, when i used to see a mountain i always felt like climbing it and conquering it. a road thats goes further than i had to go... i wanted to go ahead and explore that part of the road as well, wanted to see what comes next... Excited to know where it will lead me...
Today also i'm stranded on one such crossing in life where i'm waiting (i hate to wait)...
I'm waiting for some one to come along...
I'm alone I'm stranded...
r u coming?
